Jill Suzanne Gardner and James Donald Layton Jr. were married Nov. 12, 2005, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield., with the Rev. Don Meuret officiating. Music was provided by Tammy Barth, organist; and Kris Cuddie, soloist. A reception and dance followed at the Eagles Club. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Delores Gardner of Greenwood. The groom is the son of Don Layton of Twin Lakes and Sheryl Freeman of Wisconsin Rapids. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Jennifer Lutz. Bridesmaids were Tessia Gardner, Heather Engebretson, Kari Jackson, Danyal Klabon and Kelly Pilsner. Josh Fox was best man. Groomsmen were Chad Fox, Cal Reno, Jamie Gardner, Steve Reckner and Adam Freeman. Ushers were Curt Lohberger and Doug Lutz. Junior bridesmaids were Allison and Bethany Lutz. Flower girls were Taya Gardner and Rachel Lutz. Ringbearers were Jorden Layton and James Layton.
The bride is a Greenwood High School graduate and works for Donnelley Marketing. The groom is a Pittsville High School graduate and works for Staab Construction.
They took a Caribbean honeymoon cruise, and live in Marshfield.
